Catrina’s Survivor Story: Healing Process

Wow, since November 2017, God has put me on a Journey of Strength, Change & Faith in a whole new level. I had to drop everything I worked hard for over the last ten years and trust God.

In 2007, I became an Entrepreneur and started my own cleaning business. I blessed many clients with my cleaning skills. They called me Angel many of times for providing quality cleaning and taking care of their homes. Most clients allowed me to clean their homes for 3-5 years because they loved my spirit and cleaning skills.

I was used to cleaning 2000 and 3000 square foot homes in 3-4 hours. Those were usually a two-person job. I considered cleaning homes as my weekly exercise and fitness. I didn’t realize how much I was overworking my body. By April 2017, the cancerous tumor stopped my physical abilities to clean anyone home. The pain got so excruciating to the point it would make me sit down to rest in my clients home. That’s when I knew I had to let my cleaning business go

.

It all stopped in November 2017. I haven’t been able to walk a long distance, drive, or do any physical activities and still on bed rest in April 2018. Now I must get my body back on track now that my chemotherapy is working and healing my body.

A few weeks ago, I was inspired to plant flowers in my mother front yard. My back was aching me badly after bending down for a small period to plant the flowers.

I’m excited to start my occupational and physical therapy on Monday, April 22, 2018. God has been by my side every step of the way. I understand my healing is a process. I will not lean to my understanding but allow God to direct my path.
Thanks to all who are following my story and has donated a healing blessing in my life.
